Category 1 — Souls Just Want to Have Fun

This category includes souls that just want to experience being a horse or cat or dog for fun. Nothing wrong will happen to them, they will have a great time — they have arranged for their life to be like this. People call this “Sunday’s child,” someone who always has a nice life. As with each of these categories, you will be able to observe this in animals as well as people.

Category 2 — Out-of-Body Souls

This describes souls who have no clue what they are doing, that they are souls, or that they chose to be on earth. Gerrie says she uses intuitive communication to coach animals in this category and help them remember that they are souls, that they chose to be in a body, and that they can create their reality. In this category are those who have a total lack of connection with the body. Gerrie saw this in a hospital where she once worked: people with diabetes would come in to have a foot amputated, then come back to have the leg taken off, then be back again to have the other foot amputated, when diet and lifestyle changes could have prevented this. Part of the characteristic of this group might be a complete lack of desire to figure out and address the problem. She had a serious case with a horse who would auto-mutilate and throw himself against a wall repeatedly. Gerrie had to do a lot to turn him around, including energy healing and shamanic journeying. Often if you see this behavior in an animal, some person surrounding the animal, such as the owner or a child, will behave in the same or a similar manner.
